Lottery App Jackpocket Debuts Online Casino in New Jersey
A lottery platform is entering the New Jersey online casino market.
Jackpocket has launched its iGaming product, Jackpocket Casino, in New Jersey in partnership with Caesars Interactive Gaming. The pact makes Jackpocket the first U.S.-based lottery platform to enter America’s iGaming market, which is estimated to reach $5.1 billion in 2024.
The debut of Jackpocket Casino in New Jersey provides the state’s bettors with access to hundreds of casino games, which include blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker and slots.
“This launch immediately expands Jackpocket’s entertainment offerings in New Jersey and will do the same for fans in other markets in the future,” said Jackpocket CEO Peter Sullivan. “As the iGaming space continues to grow, we’re excited to provide our engaged lottery user base with an easy and fun way to get involved in games we know they already love.”
In 2019, Jackpocket became the first registered lottery courier service to launch operations in the U.S. following its debut in New Jersey. The company’s existing presence in the Garden State will be bolstered with user accounts being seamlessly shared between casino and lottery offerings.
Jackpocket Casino has also ensured that users will be protected as the first iGaming operator in America to receive iCAP certification for best practices in player protection. The platform’s certification is backed by the National Council on Problem Gambling.
As of Jan. 31, Jackpocket offers lottery services in 18 states across the country, which include Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Massachusetts, NewHampshire, NewYork, Texas, and others.
Its portfolio of investors includes former Dallas Mavericks majority owner MarkCuban.
