LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A longtime executive with Station Casinos' parent company has stepped down.

Robert "Bob" Finch, the executive vice president and chief operating officer for Red Rock Resorts, resigned effective Feb. 20, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Finch will remain employed as a non-officer through July to help with the transition period. There were no disagreements between him and Red Rock Resorts, the filing states.

According to the company website, Finch began his career in gaming as a dealer at Palace Station, back when it was known as Bingo Palace.

He started in 1983 and has held several leadership roles with Red Rock Resorts since then, including general manager of Green Valley Ranch Resort and senior vice president of Native American operations.

His only time away from Red Rock Resorts and its affiliated companies was a brief tenure at the Las Vegas Hilton from 1986 to 1994.

Kord Nichols takes over as EVP/COO after recently serving as senior vice president of operations. He's been with Red Rock Resorts since 2008.
