Las Vegas Advisor: Some Las Vegas shows taking a break for the holidays
Some Las Vegas shows are taking a break for the holidays. Most of them are dark on New Year's Eve. Adele's new weekend residency at Caesars Palace will begin January 21st. The shows listed below are for major productions. They are: Bally’s: “Extravaganza,” Dec. 20, Excalibur: Mac King Comedy Magic, Dec., 25, ‘Thunder from Down Under, December 25. Harrah‘s ”An Evening with Whitney, ’Tape Face, and ‚Luxor: Carrot Top, 19, 24-26, MGM Grand: KA, 27, New York Newyork: Terry Fator, 13-14, 25-29, 29, Planet Hollywood: Criss Angel MINDFREAK Live, 15-17, Rio: Penn & Teller, 17-22, WOW, 21-21, Tropicana: Legends in Concert, 26-25, Rich Little, etc. Virgin: 27—A Musical Adventure, 16-15, 18-19, & 19-24, but most of the dates are on December 15.
For the 18th straight year, Ellis Island is serving its homemade eggnog. It costs $7 per glass and $35 per bottle.
The lowest-priced room for New Year's Eve was at the Lucky Club in North Las Vegas for $150. The most expensive was a two-night package at Nobu for $2,685.
