Explore the amazing Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino
It is beyond an exceptional place to stay and play; we traveled for pleasure to escape every day for relaxation and excitement. I traveled to Las Vegas over the past 20 years and to other worldwide resorts. Without a doubt, Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is one of the most top-notch resorts I have stayed! With outstanding hospitality, the highest level of cleanliness, a wide variety of spectacular entertainment, luxurious spa treatments, and top-rated fine dining to include over a dozen dining options, the Westgate Las Vegas Resort is hard to surpass. Let's not forget it is home to Barry Manilow and has the World's Largest Race and Sportsbook.
I am so appreciative that a place still values customer service throughout the entire resort. The valet consistently offered directions, and the front desk made sure we were comfortable. The housekeepers that did an outstanding job, the concierge who assisted with arrangements, and all other resort staff we came across were phenomenal. A huge Thank You to everyone!
We noticed a dapper-dressed gentleman upon arriving. He was walking around with the warmest smile and came to greet us. It was such a pleasure meeting this man named Gordon Prouty. We found he was the VP of Public and Community Relations and was MyVegas Magazine Man of the Year! Each encounter we had with him always included him asking how our stay was going and if we needed anything during our stay. He made us truly feel welcome. The hospitality in this resort is nothing short of "Service Excellence."
Westgate Las Vegas Resort offers spacious, comfortable, contemporary rooms with every imaginable comfort. Our room was cozy, clean, quiet, smelled good, had great lighting, and provided one of the most wonderful sleeping qualities. The room included many amenities, but the 60-inch LEDSmart TV for downtime was among my favorites. You can surely appreciate black-out curtains, a mini-refrigerator, ample workspace, and wi-fi internet access to be able to sneak an e-mail in when needed.
Suppose you have the most luxury taste and opportunity to splurge. In that case, I highly recommend booking one of Westgate's three' palaces in the sky,' the Sky Villas. I had the privilege to tour each villa of the most elegant, massive, and jaw-dropping I have ever seen. These villas mostly entertain celebrities, high rollers, and exclusive events. Still, I would highly recommend looking into any of these palaces for weddings, family reunions, or any other special occasion where class, privacy, and elegance are a must. The views are beyond this world, including the Las Vegas strip and mountains.
The Verona Sky Villa is the largest of Westgate Las Vegas Resort. It is also one of the most oversized hotel suites in the country, 15,400 square feet. It has been featured on Lifestyle of the Rich & Famous and can accommodate up to 250 people for an event and sleep six guests. The combination of space, private outdoor pool, garden, imported Italian marble, and hand-painted ceilings make this villa the most exquisite.
The Tuscany Sky Villa is the second-largest Sky Villa at Westgate Las Vegas Resort. It measures 13,200 square feet and sleeps up to ten guests. It too has Italian elegance with custom murals and elaborate design throughout a private pool and courtyard.
The Versailles Sky Villa is a two-story villa with French design that views both the Las Vegas strip and mountains. It is still massive at 12,600 square feet and can host up to 150 people for a gathering. It sleeps up to six guests, and it has one of the most beautiful private pools and courtyards.
Once settling into your room, you may find yourself wanting a cocktail, looking for a quick bite, or treating yourself to an intimate dinner. Westgate’s Las Vegas dining offers a wide variety of delicious options. For fast, convenient, and excellent quality, I recommend Sid's Cafe, Cordovano Joe's Pizza, Draft's Sports Bar & Grill, Nacho Tacos Authentic Mexican, or Silk Road Asian Bistro. There are options for everyone, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free.
If you want more of an interactive dining experience, I would head over to Benihana. Enjoy true Japanese Hibachi, including Hibachi Steak, Chicken, and Shrimp, or fresh sushi and sashimi. We had a great time sipping one of their many specialty drinks in a fun atmosphere. We laughed with the other guests while our chef performed tricks during our food preparation; it is quite a show you will not forget.
Perhaps you have a taste for Italian food, and then you definitely will want to go to Fresco Italiano. Trip Advisor rated it as Las Vegas' #1 Italian restaurant. The use of the freshest ingredients and mouthwatering menu make this a must. You will not be disappointed. Overall, the service was fantastic, and one of our waiters name, Brian, was the absolute best in the business. If you have the pleasure of meeting him, I assure you your face will be lit up from smiling not only from his humor but his superior service. Fresco Italiano was a completely unexpected treasure.
My absolute favorite for fine dining is the Edge Steakhouse; it has an extensive high-end wine list and a savory menu. That offers Dry-aged Prime cuts, domestic Wagyu Beef, and Fresh Seafood. Many innovative specialty appetizers will keep you begging for more. The ambiance with marble columns and chandeliers is spectacular, and the service is nothing short of outstanding. Edge Steakhouse is AMAZING and is the best all-American Steakhouse I have been to. I would recommend making reservations ahead with the restaurant or using Round Table to reserve a table.
After you satisfy your palate and want to enjoy some fun and entertainment, head to one of the resort's many bars to listen to live music. Then try your luck gambling at one of the many game tables or slot machines or place bets at the World's Largest Sportsbook located inside the resort, or perhaps attend an iconic show. We were fortunate to see the exceptionally master of talent Sam Riddle perform live at the resort bar during our stay. We also participated at the Magic of Jen Kramer and danced ourselves right out of our seats at the Soul Motown show.
One doesn't even have to leave the resort for adventure.
If you get an itch to go to the Las Vegas strip, it is only one block away, making the Westgate Las Vegas Resort an even more desirable place to stay. The Westgate has a Las Vegas monorail stop on sight for easy access to all the excitement of the strip. The location and value of this resort can not be beaten!
If you are looking for the utmost relaxation, rent one of the poolside cabanas. Rest watching tv in the daybeds, cool down with the misting systems, and let the cocktail waitresses serve you as if you are a king or queen. Among our favorites off of the sips and bites menu were the Dole Whip specialty cocktail, seasonal fruit, shrimp tacos a la plancha, and the wg house burger. Everything was savory and beyond satisfaction. Refresh by taking a dip in the pool or 15 -seat hot tub.
During your stay, pamper yourself at the Serenity Spa by Westgate with one of the many blissful spa treatments. I decided to end my stay with a custom message. Jennifer listened to all of my concerns, was very knowledgeable, relieved the pain in my back, made me feel calm, and left me feeling new. Next time I hope to indulge in many other treatments and use one of the steam rooms, saunas, and whirlpools.
If you are looking to vacation in sin city make sure to check out Westgate’s Vegas hotel deals. Their rates are some of the best in Vegas.
