In September, Ohio's casinos and racinos took in $185.3 million. The previous record was $164.6 million, set in September 2020. Monthly revenue records were also set August, July and June. About a third of the money taken in at the casinos is turned over to the state in the form of taxes and fees.

In September, gamblers took in $185.3 million from Ohio casinos and racinos. MGM Northfield Park had the highest revenue with $22.9 million. JACK Cleveland Casino took $21. 3 million, 17.4% higher than the $18.1 million in the same month last year. Jack Thistledown Racino had revenue of $15.6 million up nearly 10% from $14.2 million the previous year, and it does not include wagering on horses.
