Preferred Item Slots have been added to Fortnite. Gamers will have their firearms and essentials show up in the same tab each time they grab them.

There is a recommended Preferred Item Slots allocation in Fornite.

It's easier to memorize where your firearms are if you start with a short-range firearm, then a mid-ranged firearm (Assault Rifle), and finally a long-distance firearm. The last two slots are more versatile, but we suggest a Utility, which consists of Grenades and Fishing Rods, and a Consumable Item like a Shield in the final slot.

The Preferred Item Slots are allocated to the appropriate slot until the inventory is full.
