Maryland Lottery and Gaming reported sports betting revenues for the month of February of $25.5 million. January's revenues were $32. 5 million, which is a shortfall from December's $16.4 million but still ahead of December 2015's revenue of $12.7 million and January 2016's at $11.2 million respectively. February sluggish returns were due to the start of the 13 Super Bowl LVL.
Live Casino & Hotel, Hanover took $1.1 million in bets. MGM National Harbor wagered $7.5 million. Horseshoe Casino, Baltimore gained $3.9 million, Hollywood Casino brought in $ 1. 9 million and Ocean Downs casino reported $2.2 million February’s Wins are $25m for Maryland Lottery and Gaming.
15% of sports bets are taxed in Maryland. In February, casinos collected $163 million in revenue from slots and table games.

Previous licenses granted for Long Shot”s at Frederick, Greenmount Station in Hampstead and Riverboat on the Potomac, Virginia. Sports betting is relatively new to Maryland, starting in December 2021 at the five casinos.
