There is so much to do and see in downtown Las Vegas. You can also hitch a ride on the free Downtown Loop shuttle to get out and explore.

The Arts District

Named for 18 blocks of arts and culture in downtown Las Vegas, the area is a vibrant hub of breweries, restaurants, art galleries, murals and more. It provides the perfect place to experience a locals’ paradise of unique #OnlyVegas experiences.

Brewery Row also calls the Arts District home. In an effort to join the craft beer movement, prominent in cities all over the country, we have launched Brewery Row in downtown Las Vegas where a natural cluster of craft brewers have already been creating and serving. Plans for the area include adding “Brewery Row” wayfinding banners in front of the designated business as part of the city’s newly launched district banner program.

Fremont East

The Fremont East Entertainment District is a multi-block entertainment area marked by retro-looking neon signs, several motels and motor courts, dozens of bars, dining and retail venues and the historic El Cortez Hotel & Casino. This pedestrian-friendly area has become a downtown “hotspot” in recent years.

Fremont East has a whole new look after the completion of Project Enchilada. Project Enchilada set out to bring green, open space, illumination and overall stabilization to East Fremont Street from Las Vegas Boulevard to 14th Street. This “new life” has been achieved by the refurbishing and restoration of some of the nostalgic neon signs in the area, the opening up of the much needed and anticipated green space and restoration of some of the business facades bringing life, energy and vibrancy to the area.

Included in the Fremont East District is the new Restaurant Row @ Carson Ave., which highlights the restaurant community with clear wayfinding signs.

Restaurant Row includes the following businesses: 7th & Carson, Bocho, Donut Bar, Carson Kitchen, Downtown Terrace, VegeNation, Juice Stars, EAT and Madero Street Tacos.According to Liam Dwyer, the owner of 7th & Carson, the new banner signs and this designation will help highlight the area for our Carson Avenue restaurants.

Gateway District

Illuminated arches that are 80-feet-tall now form a gateway to downtown Las Vegas. They are located on Las Vegas Boulevard between St. Louis and Bob Stupak avenues at the base of The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod. Now, visitors have another #OnlyVegas experience to enjoy while visiting.

A short distance from the gateway arches is the showgirl sign that features dice, poker chips stacked high enough to sit on, a roulette wheel, the city of Las Vegas logo and 26-foot tall showgirls. Elements of the sign light up so it’s gorgeous in the daytime or at night. Bonus – this hidden gem on Las Vegas Boulevard next to The Strat is hardly ever as crowded as most of the other outdoor spots. This photography spot out-Vegases any other selfie spot in the city. The sign is located at 1810 Las Vegas Blvd. South, 89104.
