Eleven lucky winners share in massive $50 million Oz Lotto jackpot
A Queensland woman and a syndicate of 10 Victorians have become multi-millionaires after winning Tuesday night’s $50 million Oz Lotto jackpot.
The mother from Mackay bought her winning ticket online, while the 10-member group purchased their tickets at different outlets across Victoria.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1446 on Tuesday, November 2, were 38, 25, 31, 1, 23, 8 and 4.
The supplementary numbers were 11 and 44.
Lottery officials say the Queensland winner was “stunned” to be told she had pocketed a whopping $25,025,538.45.
In addition to winning division one, the woman’s System 8 QuickPick entry also scored division three seven times.
“Oh my god. I’ve won $25 million?! Holy sh**! This has got to be wrong,” she said.
“It was a last minute decision to buy an entry. I cannot believe it.”
The woman said she would use the massive windfall to help her family and fund an early retirement.
The 10 Victorian winners will each receive a share worth $2,513,105.93 after purchasing their syndicate entries at different Tatts outlets across the state.
Some are yet to discover their life-changing news.
The $50 million Oz Lotto draw had soared to its highest level in more than a year after no entry held the seven winning numbers in a single game panel needed to win for five consecutive weeks.
It was the third-highest prize offered by any Australian lottery game in 2021.
