In the Netherlands, the Gaming Authority took action against several dozen operators offering gambling services without a valid presence permit. The regulator found out that 290 locations were selected from a random sample.
The KSA issues licensing for operation. An operating permit covers games in places where a presence permit has been issued. The attendance permit is an option too, one that can be issued by municipalities and guarantees. 37 operators in the Netherlands were found to have inaccurate permits. All of them have since stopped operating.
