Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit has gotten Facebook to remove a group operating illegal online bingo games.

The KSA has shared news of the bingo takedown via Facebook on November 26th. The K SA named Dordtse Queens as the Facebook group behind the illicit games. Facebook removed six pages that were affiliated in some way with Dordsse Queen.

Dordtse Queens and the offending personal pages linked to it created a "spider web of illegal bingos" in the Netherlands. In August, the KSA reported two illegal Bingo pages, Luxury Bingos and Conviviality, to Facebook. Facebook terminated an account that advertised illegal lotteries in November.

The Dutch Remote Gambling Act allows licensed operators to offer games of chance like bingo and lotteries online. Several leading online brands have already withdrawn from the Netherlands. The KSA is investigating 25 potentially illegal gambling websites. If the turnover of an illegal operator exceeds $17 million, the fine is related to the the amount of turnover.
