Dutch Regulator Fines Illegal Online Gambling Companies

Dutch gambling regulator has hit two illegal online gambling firms with hefty fines and cease and desist orders.
Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit has slapped cease and desist orders on two illegal gambling firms. Luxury Bingo and BSB Shop were operating without licenses on social media networks. They were hit with collective fines of up to €65,000 ($77,177)
Dutch Regulator Fines Illegal Online Gambling Companies. Luxury Bingo was fined €3,000 ($3.561) per violation. BSB Shop was charged €7,00 ($8,311) for each violation, up to a maximum fine of €35,500 ($41,555).
KSA and Facebook are working together to prevent illegal lotteries. Facebook removed an entire account in July on KSA's request. Dipping lotters require entrants to pay for drawings that supposedly have the chance of paying out in cash or prizes.
