Detroit casinos report $108 million in November aggregate revenue

The three Detroit casinos reported $108.19 million in monthly aggregate revenue in November 2021. Table games and slots generated $103.86 million, and retail sports betting produced $4.33 million.

Table games and slots revenue during November was 116.1% higher than November 2020 revenue. In 2020, the casinos were closed due to pandemic-related health concerns for several full and partial months.

Table games and slots gaming revenue rose 93.1% year-to-date through Nov. 30 compared with the same period in 2020. November 2021 revenue was 6.8% lower than October 2021. The three Detroit casinos paid $8.4 million in gaming taxes to the State of Michigan compared to $3.9 million paid in November 2020, and $13.0 million to Detroit in wagering taxes and development agreement payments.

November's retail sports betting qualified adjusted gross receipts were 85.2% higher than November 2020 results.

November QAGR by casino totaled $1,031,457. MotorCity, $ 1,472,396 and Greektown, $824,846. State of Michigan received $163,625 in retail sports betting taxes from the three Detroit casinos.
