Detroit casinos report $107.2 million monthly revenue in July
The three Detroit casinos reported $107.2 million in monthly aggregate revenue during July. Table games and slots produced $105.9 million and retail sports betting generated $1.3 million.
Table games and slots revenue fell 8.4% compared with July 2021 results. Monthly revenue rose 7.9% from June. Table games revenue increased 3% through July 31 compared to the first seven months of last year.
MGM, MotorCity and Hollywood Casino at Greektown reported monthly gaming revenue results down year over year. The three casinos paid $8.6 million in wagering taxes to the State of Michigan during July compared with $9.4 million for the same month last year and $12.5 million to Detroit.
