Circa bringing high-tech expansion to downtown Las Vegas
Circa Resort will begin work next week on a multimillion-dollar, 35,000-square-foot meetings and convention area. The third-floor convention space will have customizable ballroom space and 15 meeting rooms that could accommodate up to 1,500 people. It will be ready for business in September 2020. The facilities will include state-of-the-art audio and visual capabilities.
Circa is bringing high-tech expansion to downtown Las Vegas. The individual meeting rooms and ballroom space will be named for some long-closed Las Las Nevada hotels from past eras. All have audio-visual technology, full rigging and access to pre-function spaces.
Starlite was opened in the 1950s and still operates today. Starlite has 3,572 square feet of space across three rooms.
Circa sits on the site formerly home to the Carousel, a casino where guests could dine on an assortment of food for 96 cents. The meeting spaces offer 1,651 square feet across three rooms.
Ambassador was a motel in the 1930s and later a building that was used as an apartment. Circa’s two Ambassador meeting spaces can be booked together for a total of 1,055 square feet.
Circa is bringing high-tech expansion to downtown Las Vegas. La Concha Motel was built on a shoestring budget and remained open for 45 years. The building currently serves as the entrance to Neon Museum. Circa’s LaConcha room features 920 square feet of space.
Bonanza Office is named after the iconic Bonanza Casino. Construction will begin Monday morning. The last event before construction begins will be for the NCAA basketball tournament Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games. Circa's new Circas area will expand available meeting facilities downtown. The D property has one ballroom and eight meeting rooms. It has a capacity of about 500. In addition to the new meeting spaces, planners can book events throughout the resort.
