Chicago receives five casino bids including Bally's, Hard Rock and Rush Street

Bally's, Hard Rock and Rush Street have submitted bids for Chicago's first integrated casino-resort. The selected proposal will be granted the city's sole casino owner's license.

Bally's is applying for a casino license. The company proposes a $1.6 billion venue with a focus on minority and women investors, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and employees. It will be built in two phases. First phase will feature 2,700 slot machines and 95 table games, a 100-all suite luxury hotel, outdoor music venue for performances seating 500 to 1,000, an outdoor green space for relaxation and recreation, dining options, and pop-up entertainment by local artists. Second phase would add up to 4,00 gaming positions, 400-room hotel tower with rooftop pool and bar, 20, 000-square-foot exhibition space, amenity terrace, spa, fitness center, sun deck, etc.

Bally's Corporation submitted two proposals for two different sites. HR Chicago, LLC submitted a proposal for a single site. Hard Rock International submitted its casino operations would be managed by an affiliate, HardRock International. Rivers Chicago at McCormick, Ltd. submitted their proposal to manage a casino.
