KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. (WBTV) - Catawba Two Kings Casino opened live table games for the first time this week.

The 12 live table games are on the casino’s expanded gaming floor, which includes:

Earlier this month, the casino added 64 slot machines, and the cashier cage is being expanded to enhance customer service.

This is the third expansion of the temporary Kings Mountain gaming facility, which held a groundbreaking for a massive $700,000,000 overhaul on Friday, June 7.

“While we are thrilled that construction is underway on our major casino resort, we are continuing to invest in our current gaming facility to broaden its appeal to residents and visitors to the greater Charlotte area and South Carolina,” Catawba Nation Chief Brian Harris said. “We anticipate the live table games will be very popular and give people who have not been to the casino a great reason to visit.”

Two Kings Casino is located just off Interstate 85 along Dixon School Road, and officials say the new resort will create nearly 2,000 new jobs.

The $700M permanent casino resort is expected to open its introductory phase in early 2026.
