Caesars Makes a Bold Move on the Las Vegas Strip
Caesars Entertainment Inc. is putting its Flamingo Resort Casino up for sale and rebranding Bally's Resort casino under the Horseshoe name. MGM Resorts International traded Mirage for the Cosmopolitan. Las Vegas has bounced back spectacularly after the financial crisis. The Las Las Vites Strip is the most valuable 4.2-mile stretch of land in the world.
Caesars has removed the sportsbook at Bally's as part of the transformation into Horseshoe. The space will be filled with an all-ages arcade called Arcade. Sports bettors will still be able to place bets through the Caesar's app. The arcade will have more than 80 games and will feature colorful artwork and bright neon lights.
Caesars' Caesar's Cromwell resort casino will be 21-and-over only. Giada restaurant from celebrity chef Giadas De Laurentiis will remain open to all guests. Caeres has a lot of properties on the Las Vegas Strip. It's important to use each one to cater to different audience segments. It makes sense to have an all-ages arcade at a resort that caters to gamblers.
