Barrie resident claims record jackpot in RVH Auxiliary's 50/50 draw

Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre’s (RVH) Auxiliary is excited to announce the recent winner of its monthly community 50/50 draws. Scott B. from Barrie won $98,350, a new record jackpot!
"We encourage everyone to support RVH through the Auxiliary’s 50/50 draws, which allows the tiniest patients and their families to receive the excellent care and service that was shown to our family in the past," says Scott and his wife.
With each monthly draw, the RVH Auxiliary continues to raise funds to support its latest $5-million pledge to RVH’s Moments Matter fundraising campaign. Half of the funds will be used to support the much needed expansion in the neo-natal intensive care unit.
"I am so grateful for the support of our community in our fundraising efforts and, of course, am thrilled the RVH volunteers are able to make such a big impact in supporting health care in our region. Not only do these funds make a huge difference at RVH, but winning over $98,000 has a huge impact on the life of our winner as well,” says Lise McCourt, RVH Auxiliary president. “A big thank you to Near North Supply for the sponsorship of the June draw.”
