Rosslyn resident wins $437,968 5050 jackpot
May’s HSN 50/50 will feature 25 early bird draws totaling $70,000 and a guaranteed minimum $500,000 jackpot.
ROSSLYN – A Rosslyn resident is over $400,000 richer after winning April’s HSN 50/50 jackpot.
Health Sciences North Foundation, NEO Kids Foundation, Northern Cancer Foundation, and the HSN Volunteer Association announced that this month’s 50/50 jackpot of $437,968 has been won by Janet Haycock of Rosslyn.
Haycock has played the 50/50 for a while and said that she still cant quite believe that she had actually won.
“This is such an incredible moment in my life. I feel so fortunate,” she said. “This is a chance for me to clear some bills and support my family and I don’t know if I’ll ever truly grasp it, even when the cheque is in my hands.”
Anthony Keating, president and chief development officer of foundations and volunteer Groups at HSN, said that Haycock’s excitement was contagious when she was told of the good news.
“Supporters of the HSN 50/50 like Janet are having an incredible impact on healthcare for residents of Northeastern Ontario,” he said.
“For Laurie, a community member with a condition causing progressive hearing loss, your support meant staying close to home for an innovative treatment made possible at HSN by HSN 50/50 players.“
To celebrate over $25,000,000 won since its first 50/50 jackpot, the HSN 50/50 is planning to give away more prizes than ever. May’s HSN 50/50 features 25 early bird draws totalling $70,000 and a guaranteed minimum $500,000 jackpot.
