Australians can access USA Power Lotto’s division one $610 million jackpot
Aussies have been given access to enter USA Power Lotto’s division one with a massive $A610 million up for grabs.
It will give one lucky punter the chance to make history as the nation’s all-time biggest lottery winner if they take out tomorrow’s (December 30) huge jackpot.
The $A610 million jackpot has continued to climb over the last 13 weeks and Australian lottery provider — The Lottery Office — has now provided Aussies the opportunity to enter with its CEO Jaclyn Wood saying the win could be the perfect start to 2022.
“Ending 2021 with a $600+ million lottery win would make achieving almost any New Year’s Resolution a reality,” Ms Wood said.
“Players don’t need to be a division one winner in order to gain a life-changing windfall, with the division 2 prize set to exceed $1.4 million.”
The Lottery Office is an Australian-owned provider and holds the appropriate license to offer Aussies the chance to win from international draws and donates a percentage of the cost of every ticket sold to charities across the country, allowing the organisation to help the lives of everyday Australians.
“We’re Australia’s ticket to the world’s largest official lotteries. When Australians purchase tickets in our lotteries, we purchase a matching ticket in the overseas draw and when one of our customers win, we pay them the exact amount of the winnings we collect from the overseas lottery ticket,” Ms Wood said.
“Not only are we providing a legitimate service with the required consumer safeguards to protect our players, we work to make a positive impact on the lives of everyday Australians by donating a percentage of ticket sales to local charities.”
Meanwhile, a Broken Hill man in his 40s had his Christmas made after he held one of the three division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4219 on Saturday, December 25, 2021.
Each division one winning entry won $2,111,667.39.
However, the winner was oblivious to his festive good fortune until an official from The Lott broke the news to him on Boxing Day.
“I’m shaking!” the man exclaimed.
“I had no idea! I hadn’t even checked my ticket because of everything going on with Christmas.
“I don’t think I received any presents as good as this one! It’s all real, right?
“This was the last thing I was expecting on Boxing Day.”
The stunned winner admitted he now looked forward to starting 2022 with greater financial freedom.
“This does so much for us,” he said. “We’ve been trying to buy a new house, so that’s now taken care of.”
He said he will still keep working and doesn’t plan on retiring.
The Lottery Office made another millionaire earlier this year, with one lucky player from NSW walking away with a $1.7 million win.
“The division 2 winner was one number short of claiming the $170 million division 1 prize,” Ms Wood said.
“His win was boosted because he accidentally selected a multiplier game for an extra $3.45, which doubled his division 2 base prize of $828,000.”
The player’s $1,656,020 prize is Australia’s largest payout from an online-only lottery provider.
