A Long-Delayed Las Vegas Strip Project Is Back on Track
The pandemic killed a lot of investment and construction projects around the country, but not in Las Vegas. Caesars Entertainment and MGM Resorts kept moving forward with huge projects. Fontainebleau Las Las Vegans is going to open in late 2023. The pand epidemic also saw the opening of Resort World Las veres and major projects at Circus Circus and Tropicana.
Flite Golf and Strat Hotel and Casino are partners on Atomic Range, a golf entertainment destination on Las Vegas Boulevard. The project was expected to cost $70 million. Atomic range will be a 99,000-square-foot, four-story facility with 103 separate hitting bays, six bars, 10 putting baying, an Astrocade multiuse area and meeting space.
Strat has struggled because of supply chain issues with its linen provider. The company has since changed the linen supplier. Strat is still missing 20 points of occupancy relative to 2019 levels. The Strat has been unable to capitalize on increasing citywide midweek group business. It is a long-delayed Las Vegas Strip project.
