$136K Jackpot Won By Silver Spring Woman In MD Lottery Game
SILVER SPRING, MD — An El Salvadorian construction worker from Silver Spring recently claimed the $136,056 jackpot on the Maryland Lottery's Casino Royale Slots game.
Yesica Moya Jovel learned the ropes by watching her mother play the Maryland Lottery over years. But the 27-year-old woman purchased her own jackpot-winning ticket last week while visiting the Wheaton Exxon station located at 11310 Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring.
After purchasing the FAST PLAY ticket, she checked the self-scanner several times, but it kept coming up with a blank screen. It was only after she fetched the store mananger, that the woman discovered she'd won the big prize.

Visiting Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore to claim her prize, Jovel told officials that she was going to use her winnings to buy a new house to share with her family.
For selling the $136,056 winning FAST PLAY ticket, the Wheaton Exxon will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
