A Balgownie bloke is entering the weekend beaming after receiving a phone call with the news he won $100,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales winner scored the guaranteed 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10474, drawn Friday 25 June 2021, and takes home a prize of $100,000.
Alongside winning the 1st Prize, the happy man also won a consolation prize of $2,000, boosting his total win to $102,000.
Sharing his euphoria with an official from The Lott this afternoon, the winner admitted he was in a stake of shock from the revelation he’d finally won the big one.
“Wow! Wow! Wow!” he laughed.
“Gee whiz! That’s a whole lot of money and it will definitely come in handy.
“I’ve been visiting the same outlet for around nine years and purchasing the same Lucky Lotteries tickets the entire time. The staff there are absolutely wonderful.
“I’m surrounded by a few close friends and they’re so happy to hear I've won.
“I’m a bit overwhelmed. I’ll have to take a moment to sit down and process everything.
“Jesus Christ! This is amazing.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, the cheerful man revealed he was ready to celebrate the long-awaited windfall.
“I’m definitely going to open a bottle of wine!” he admitted.
“I’m not sure how I’ll spend the winnings though, I need to have a thorough think.
“This is perfect! I just can’t believe it.”
The winning entry was purchased at Fairy Meadow Newsagency, 35 Princes Highway, Fairy Meadow.
Fairy Meadow Newsagency team member Kristy McGrath said she was pleased for the winner, declaring he was very deserving of the prize.
“We’re absolutely stoked for the winner. We are beyond happy that it has gone to a local and regular customer as well,” she said.
“We love having regular customers come in and it’s even better when they win!
“We actually had another major lottery win three weeks ago, so we’ve had two in a very short span of time. We hope it comes in threes!

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.48 million for draw 1537, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $500,000 for draw 10475.
In 2020, 141 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $48.61 million.
