Lake Manitoba First Nation Chief Cornell McLean won a $1.4m jackpot at the Shooting Star Casino in Minnesota.
Lake Manitoba First Nation Chief Cornell McLean has scooped a $1.4m jackpot at the Shooting Star Casino in Minnesota. He had thought he had won $13,000, but it turned out to be more than $15,00.
The Shooting Star Casino photographed McLean and his wife with an oversized check and posted it to its Facebook page. It will take about ten days for the funds to hit Mclean's account. He is the Lake Manitoba First Nation Chief and the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Deputy Chief. The couple has five kids and 16 grandchildren.
McLean won a jackpot of $400,000 at Caesars Palace. Four people have won jackpots of six-figure sums at the same Las Vegas Strip casino in recent days.
