FARGO, N.D. – Shooting Star Casino is excited to announce the addition of multiplatinum-selling artist Melissa Etheridge to its 2022 concert lineup. The show will be on Friday, August 12, at 8pm. Tickets will go on sale June 13, 2022, and be $33, $49 and $66.

Etheridge’s latest album, “One Way Out,” features songs she wrote and recorded in the late ’80s and early ’90s that didn’t make the cut originally. The songs bristle with energy and emotion and show Etheridge finding her voice, but at a time she wasn’t yet ready to say it in public.

“It was an emotional space, a tender sort of place that I was reluctant to go to before I came out,” Etheridge shares. “So yeah, I did hold back on that sort of thing. And now it was really fun to just step forward and fearlessly present these songs and play them. You know, really being set free.”

This tour also reunites the original band Etheridge toured with, which is Kevin McCormick on bass, Fritz Lewak on drums and John Shanks on guitar.

Ethridge’s hits include “I’m the Only One,” “Come to My Window” and “I Want To Come Over.”
