then I won £23million lottery jackpot after an eerie prediction… my reaction was incredible
A STRUGGLING mum has scooped £23million on the lottery after making an eerie prediction just hours earlier.
The lucky ticketholder won the entire division one on the Powerball draw on Thursday, earning her the "life-changing" sum.
The woman, from Snowtown, South Australia, explained she had experienced a "tough few months" before the win.
She told how shortly before she received the extraordinary news, she had spookily predicted that her luck may change.
The mum had been on the phone with a pal when they discussed what she would do with the whopping windfall if her numbers came up.
But despite their coincidental chat, she still "definitely didn't expect" to bag the jackpot after buying a 50-game QuickPick ticket online.
Lotto officials delivered the spectacular news as she was driving - forcing her to pull over in a side street as she got to grips with her newfound wealth.
She hilariously screamed to the caller: "Oh my god! Oh my god! F**k off! F**k off! My brain isn’t working at the moment. Is this true?"
The winner, who opted to remain anonymous, is South Australia's first Powerball division one winner this year.
She said of her £23 million win: "Funnily enough, I was joking around with a friend earlier this morning saying if I won division one in Powerball, I'd go on a holiday around the world.
"I definitely didn't expect to win the entire jackpot tonight.
"Never in a million years did I think this would've happened to me. It's been a tough few months, so this is life-changing.
"We will celebrate eventually. Once I’ve processed this all."
The winning numbers were 21, 23, 13, 30, 25, 31 and the Powerball number was 10.
