Spooktacular Bingo returns with jackpot creeping above $2,000

Town Square Community Center is putting a thrilling twist on its monthly Bingo night with Spooktacular Bingo. Bingo-goers may attend Saturday, Oct. 28, dressed in their Halloween best.

Doors and concessions open at 5 p.m., card sales begin at 5:30 and the games start at 6:30.

The evening offers 13 spine-chilling games, along with speedy bingo and a progressive blackout featuring a jackpot of $2,213 plus half of the night’s sales if bingo is called in 53 numbers or fewer.

The jackpot could reach more than $2,500 with a consolation prize of $200 if bingo is not called in 53 numbers or less.

The night also will feature a 50/50 raffle and door prizes.

“I always love seeing how people incorporate the theme of bingo into what they wear,” volunteer Diane Rogahn said. “This month’s Halloween theme never disappoints. I can’t wait to see all the great costumes.”

Concessions will be available for purchase, including hot dogs, chips, beer, and wine. Carry-ins are prohibited. Attendees may arrive early to find their preferred seats before the games begin. Minors are welcome to play bingo in Wisconsin, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Bingo takes place at Town Square on the last Saturday of every month. Proceeds from the bingo games support Town Square, an award-winning community center located in the historic county courthouse buildings in the heart of downtown Green Lake.
