Gambling turnover in South Dakota grew by 4 per cent to $1.55 billion in 2023, with December’s turnover coming in at $107.5 million.
South Dakota’s December total marked an 18 per cent improvement on the same month a year ago, but was the lowest monthly total of 2023.
Slot machine handle increased by 17 per cent to $98.2 million in December, the only month in 2023 with handle below $100 million.
