Slot Surge Pushes Indiana Casino Win Over $200M For December

The Indiana Gaming Commission reported $203.9 million in casino win for the month of December. The total was a 3. 9% increase from the $196.2 million win in November. 11 of the state's 12 casinos and racinos had month-over-month gains. Table games revenue declined by 5.8%. Free play totaled $12.5 million for December, up half a million dollars from November, and sports betting taxes totaled $50.3 million.

Caesars Southern Indiana generated $2 million more in slot revenue compared to November. Hard Rock Northern Indiana was the only venue to surpass $20 million in revenue. Horseshoe Hammond came up about $25,000 short of $21 million. Belterra had a decline in its slot revenues, but it still won $6.3 million for the second consecutive month.

Hard Rock generated $10.3 million from table games in December. Caesars Southern Indiana lost $4.8 million. Belterra saw a big increase in revenue. Harrah’s Hoosier Park saw an improvement in its table game revenue as well. The total winnings at the Indiana casinos reached $200 million for December, up from $150 million in November.
