All seven of the interested parties have submitted their official expression of interest to the New York State Gaming Commission. Caesars Entertainment is not among the parties.

Rush Street, Wynn, LVS, Genting Group, MGM Resorts International, Bally’s Corporation, and Hard Rock International have confirmed their interest in acquiring one of three New York City casino licenses. Caesars Entertainment is not interested.

Rush Street has submitted an RFI to NYGC. It is the first step towards bidding for a NYGGC license. The company has developed six successful casinos and just broke ground on the seventh. Water Club proposed a small, exclusive casino without slot machines.

The RFI is a public comment window. Some people are concerned about the impact of new casinos. The Shinnecock Indian Nation is also concerned. Philip Morris, CEO of Proctors Performing Arts Center in Schenectady, urges the NYGC to consider cultural impacts. Three full-service casinos entering the NYC market could rake in $420m to $630m per year.
