Rivers Casino Portsmouth celebrated a construction milestone with a Topping-off Ceremony on May 10. The new gaming and entertainment complex on Victory Boulevard will open in early 2023. It will feature a casino, BetRiver Sportsbook, premier restaurants, a live entertainment lounge, hotel, and event center. There will be five job fairs, one per month over the next five months, beginning May 12 at Tidewater Community College’s Portsmouth Campus. The first job Fair will focus on table games and dealer school training.
Rivers Casino Portsmouth is a $300 million-plus local investment. The complex will feature a casino, a sportsbook, hotel, event and conference venues, premier restaurants and more.
Ballard-Yates is a joint venture between local firm S.B. Ballard Construction Company and national contractor Yates Construction. S B.Balland Construction was founded in 1978 and is one of the largest concrete contractors in the Commonwealth. Yates is family-owned and provides a wide range of construction and building services.
