Powerball ticket worth $1 million sold in Milwaukee area
One lottery ticket sold in southeast Wisconsin won $1 million over the weekend, while three others claimed at least $50,000.
The million-dollar winning ticket was purchased for Saturday's drawing at a Speedway in Wauwatosa, at 6804 W. North Ave.
That same day, two tickets sold in the area won $50,000. One was purchased at CVS at 9220 W. Greenfield Ave. in West Allis, and the other was sold at the Walmart Supercenter at 3355 S. 27th St. in Milwaukee.
On Sunday, a player instantly won $195,090 (50%) of the Fast Play Progressive Jackpot after buying a $5 Fast Play 20X ticket from the Kwik Trip in Lisbon, at W221N6314 Lieds Lane.
Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com/winners/claim-prize.
The odds of winning the $1 million Powerball jackpot are 1 in 11,688,054. The player needs to match all five numbers drawn but not the Powerball.
The odds of winning the $50,000 prize are 1 in 913,130. It's won by matching four numbers, plus the Powerball.
The odds of winning the Fast Play Progressive jackpot are 1 in 240,000.
Powerball drawings are Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9:59 p.m. Tickets have to be purchased before 9 p.m. to be included in the drawings.
