Powerball ticket wins $1 million in Green Bay Saturday
GREEN BAY - A Powerball ticket won $1 million Saturday in Green Bay, according to the Wisconsin Lottery.
The ticket was sold at Kwik Trip, 2400 University Ave.
The numbers for the Saturday drawing were 47, 54, 57, 60 and 65. The Powerball was 19, and the Power Play was 3.
The big winner comes on the heels of the $268,822 Fast Play progressive jackpot being won Friday with a ticket sold at Neo Beverages, 1215 E. Mason St. The winner purchased a $10 50X ticket. The odds of winning 100% of the jackpot was 1 in 240,000.
On Wednesday, $50,000 was won by a Powerball player with a ticket purchased at a Kwik Trip in Ashwaubenon.
Prize winners above $200,000 must redeem their prizes in-person at the Wisconsin Lottery office in Madison, according to the Wisconsin Lottery website.
The odds of a million-dollar winner in Powerball are 1 in 11,688,054. Players have to match the five numbers, but not the Powerball, in order to win that prize.
The jackpot currently stands at about $1.55 billion with an estimated cash value of $679.8 million, according to the Powerball website. That makes it the highest jackpot this year and the third-highest Powerball jackpot of all time.
The next Powerball drawing is at 9:59 p.m. Monday.
