PlayUp is taking its time entering the US iGaming market. Two of the four states for which it has market access agreements don't yet offer legal online casino marketplaces. PlayUp announced in June 2021 that it partnered with Las Vegas-headquartered Caesars Corporation for that i gaming market Access.

PlayUp USA is suing former CEO Laila Mintas for alleged breach of contract. PlayUp wants to enter the US iGaming space. Minta is countersuing Playup, mainly alleging defamation. She also wants the court to stop Play up from subpoenaing her previous employment records from Minneapolis-based Sportradar US.

FTX invested $35 million in PlayUp during Q4 2021. Playup still plans to offer US iGaming.

PlayUp USA has signed a market access deal with Caesars for iGaming in Indiana. Online casino and poker play is not yet legal in the Hoosier State or in Iowa. Lawmakers in both states are talking about legalizing i gaming.

PlayUp's long-term strategy is to have a robust platform for sports betting, horse racing, iGaming, Daily Fantasy Sports and more.

2 PlayUp Sportsbooks are live. Playup has an agreement with Caesars that includes access to sportsbook market access in Indiana and Iowa.
