PointsBet Launches its First Online Casino in Michigan
PointsBet confirms the launch of its first online casino in Michigan.
PointsBet has launched its first iGaming platform in Michigan. The state's gaming control board approved the platform on Tuesday afternoon. The company launched online sports betting in the state at the beginning of the year.
PointsBet offers sports betting in other states, including Illinois, New Jersey, Iowa, Indiana, Colorado, and Michigan. It already operates with online sports betting in Michigan via its official partnership with the Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. The operator signed the deal last year with tribe, which operations in Northern Waters Casino Resort in Watersmeet.
PointsBet reports 246% increase in Q3 FY 2021 revenue. The operator uses Paysafe's services in 5 regulated US markets. Its platform is going live in New Jersey next month.
Michigan has raised $95.1 million in iGaming revenue for March. The state has taken $204.2 million since the launch of the PaysBet in January.
