Playtech has become the first recipient of GamCare’s B2B safer gaming standard. The evaluation centred on everything from company-wide culture and leadership support for safer gambling to product teams incorporating safer betting into product design and development.
Playtech has been awarded advanced level 2, of 3 of GamCare's B2B standard for its casino product and platform operations licensed in Great Britain. Gamcare's head of safer gambling standards, Hayley Jane Smith, says Playtech demonstrated a clear focus on developing and improving its approach to safer betting.
Playtech is the first B2B business to receive GamCare's B-2-Safer Gambling Standard. It has increased its strategic focus since 2018. It works with academics, charities and thought leaders inside and outside the gambling sector to deliver its 'Sustainable Success' commitments.
