Attorneys at Kleinbard LLC on Friday removed a lawsuit against slot machine company Pace-O-Matic and Miele Manufacturing to Pennsylvania Eastern District Court. The suit contends that Pace-O-Matic’s ‘Pennsylvania Skill’ branded slot machines do not comply with the state’s regulatory regime for gambling devices and are untaxed. The complaint, brought by Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel on behalf of Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment, further alleges that legal gambling operations like the plaintiff’s are financially harmed by competition from illegal slot machines. The case is 2:22-cv-04434, Greenwood Gaming & Entertainment Inc. v. POM of Pennsylvania LLC et al.
