Oz Lotto jackpot $30m tonight, draw details, winning numbers, results
A staggering $30 million is up for grabs for the Tuesday night lottery draw.
One or more lucky punters who pick the right numbers might become a multi-millionaires after Oz Lotto’s draw 1440 is announced at 8.30pm AEST.
So far this year, 12 division one winning entries have collectively taken home more than $167 million.
This is the third time a $30 million Oz Lotto jackpot has been offered to players in 2021.
Last week, $20 million was up for grabs but nobody picked the right numbers. This caused the jackpot to increase up to this week’s numbers.
In November last year, $30 million was also up for grabs. Four people won the cash and they had to split the prize four ways.
Two of those winners spoke to The Lott anonymously, with one from NSW and one from Victoria.
A Wollongong retiree, south of Sydney, planned to buy a caravan and go on the trip of a lifetime with his $7.5 million windfall.
“That’s awesome. You always think ‘I’d love to win the lottery’ and now I have, and it’s a great feeling,” he told The Lott.
“I’ve won small prizes over the years, but to win a big one is incredible, and I’m glad I’ve been able to share it with three others.
“I checked my ticket this morning, I was sitting down at home, and I saw I had a win.
I didn’t pay too much attention because I assumed it would be a small one but when I saw $7.5 million, I couldn’t believe it.
“Lucky I was sitting down, or else I would have fallen over.
“I was in disbelief. Things like this just don’t happen to me.
“The biggest and best thing is that I will be able to help my kids out.”
Another man, this time from the Melbourne suburb of Carrum Downs, also won the windfall – but declared he was still going to rock up to work the next day.
“I just found out, I saw your email, and so I checked my online account,” the Melbourne winner told The Lott.
“I was very happy. I screamed out to my wife and showed her.
“She broke down into tears. She can’t believe it. She just keeps saying how unbelievable it is.
“I am going to buy a house. I want to share my prize with my family too. I have a very big family, so I can’t wait to break the news to them.”
A lucky 12 people have so far nabbed division one prizes this year to the tune of $167 million all together.
Of those winners, four were from NSW, four were from Victoria, three were from Western Australia and one was from the Northern Territory.
