Northeast Iowa Men Win $100,000, $10,000 Iowa Lottery Prizes
Two northeast Iowa men won a combined total of over $100,000 in Iowa Lottery scratch games in February.
Toby Williamson of Cedar Falls won the fourth top prize of $100,000 in the Iowa Lottery’s “Jewel 7’s” scratch game after purchasing his winning ticket at the Thunder Ridge Ampride in Cedar Falls. “Jewel 7’s” is the same scratch game that also scored $100,000 in January for the Flicks of Chickasaw County: Kayla, Steve, Tammy and Marisa, all of New Hampton; Macy, Mary and Robert, all of Ionia; plus,Tanner Rentschler of Fredericksburg.
Decorah’s Terry Henry won a “Cherry Twist Progressive InstaPlay” jackpot prize of over $10,000 after purchasing his winning ticket at Kwik Star on Montgomery Street in Decorah. Henry, a farmer, said he’s considering using his winnings to buy seed corn for spring planting.
We previously reported that Zacahry Liddle of Plainfield won over $63,000 in the Iowa Lottery’s “Extreme Green Progressive InstaPlay” after purchasing his winning ticket at Love’s Travel Stop in Floyd in early February.
