North Carolina: Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino Begins Expansion
$275 million expansion project began on September 29 at Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino in North Carolina. The expansion will include a larger casino floor, parking lot, new hotel tower and additional facilities.
Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino in North Carolina is expanding.
The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians and Caesars Entertainment broke ground on September 29 for a project that will further improve and expand Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel. The expansion will cost $275 million. Whiting-Turner Construction Company has been selected as the construction company for the project.
The next extension of Intertops is expected to be completed at the start of 2024. It will increase the venue’s size from 311,011 to 626,169 square feet. The expansion will almost double the amount of casino games available. There will be a 296-room hotel tower, an indoor pool and a fitness facility. A new 12,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant will provide sitting both indoors and outdoors.
