N.C. man's 'normal routine' leads to $827,330 lottery jackpot
Sept. 28 (UPI) -- A North Carolina man said following his "normal routine" led to his winning a lottery jackpot worth $827,330.
Chad Lequire of Whittier told North Carolina Education Lottery officials he bought his ticket for the Big Bucks Bingo Fast Play lottery game at PJ's Food Mart on Asheville Highway in Sylva.
"It was just part of my normal routine," Lequire said. "And that's the game I like to play."
Lequire's $10 ticket earned him an $827,330 progressive jackpot.
"I've never won anything big like this before," Lequire said.
Lequire said he will use his winnings to buy a house, pay off his bills and help his family.
"I still can't believe it right now to be honest with you," he said.
