Profits from state lotteries in Pennsylvania and North Carolina for the 2020-21 fiscal year have smashed previous records.

North Carolin's Education Lotteries made $936m profit for the same year. Ticket sales for PA Lotting reached an all-time high of $5.5bn. Online-play sales posted a figure of $887m.
