National Lottery sees second jackpot winner in two weeks scoop £5.1m prize
A lucky ticket-holder has bagged a £5.1 million prize in Wednesday's National Lottery draw, making them the second jackpot winner in two weeks.
The winning Lotto numbers were 34, 44, 23, 26, 59 and 36, and the bonus number was 43.
Set of balls six and the Guinevere draw machine were used.
A single player matched all six main numbers to take home the top prize, while two matched five numbers and the bonus number to win £1 million apiece.
Camelot's Andy Carter, the senior winners' adviser at the National Lottery, urged players to check their tickets.
He said "What fantastic news for a single ticket-holder who has won tonight's £5.1 million Lotto jackpot, the second jackpot win in a week after a player won £2 million in last Wednesday's Lotto draw (July 21)."
Some 27 players matched five of six numbers without the bonus ball to win £1,750 prizes.
Saturday's jackpot will be an estimated £3.8 million.
