National Lottery reveals three locations where winning Lotto tickets sold as players scoop huge prizes
The National Lottery has revealed where the lucky tickets that won three players huge prizes in Wednesday's draw were sold.
Three punters won €283,017 each after matching five numbers and the bonus.
However, the record €19 million jackpot that has been rolling since June went unclaimed yet again.
The players who scooped the biggest prizes on Wednesday night bought their tickets in Kerry, Limerick and Westmeath.
As no additional funds were added to the capped Lotto jackpot, the funds that would usually go to the jackpot were instead distributed to the next prize tier at which there was a winner and this was in the Match 5+Bonus category.
The Kerry and Westmeath winners both won their share of the Match 5 + Bonus prize fund after purchasing their winning tickets online.
The Kerry winner bought their Normal Play ticket on Tuesday, December 14 while the Westmeath winner purchased their Normal Play ticket on the day of the draw.
Meanwhile, the Limerick player purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Moloney's on Main Street in Broadford, Co Limerick.
Shop owner Dan Moloney was delighted to hear the good news, commenting: “Everyone in the shop is thrilled with the news!
"This is the biggest Lotto prize that we have ever sold so it’s great news and such good timing in the lead up to Christmas. I am sure that there will be lots of plans being made now for the win.
"There will certainly be celebrations in the store today!”
The winning numbers for Wednesday's Lotto draw were: 04, 10, 21, 27, 41, 42 and the bonus 18.
The National Lottery has confirmed that a notification to the user’s online account and a separate email has now been sent to the lucky Kerry and Westmeath ticket holders.
The Limerick winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe. All three winners should make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prizes.
