Despite battling COVID-19 restrictions and relocation disputes, Gaborone-based Moonlite Casino has endured all odds to come out confident for the new year with an array of eye-catching new offers.

Originally located at Gaborone Hotel, the casino had sought to relocate to MASA centre at the Central Business District from 2013 but had been denied numerous times by the Botswana Gambling Authority (GA) and the High Court.
Moonlite eventually applied for relocation to Airport Junction shopping centre and was approved by the GA in 2019. However, soon after opening its doors for business in 2020, COVID-19 forced the casino into temporary closure and limited operations thereafter.
The directors stated that despite their location at Airport Junction not being their first pick, the location strategically targets an ideal area of Gaborone with no gambling opportunities providing a unique competitive edge against other casinos.
