Nevada Gaming Control Board recommends new Mohegan CEO Ray Pineault for licensing. Mr. Pineaults was appointed as permanent CEO late last month. He apologized to Nevada regulators for violating state-mandated health and safety regulations at the opening of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on March 25. The state Gaming control board issued a five-count complaint against the tribal operator.

Mohegan has agreed to pay a $60,000 fine for violating anti-pandemic rules. The regulator used photos posted by Las Vegas Review-Journal and Virgin Hotels on the new property's official Twitter account. Mr. Pineault apologized to the Gaming Control Board members. He took full responsibility for the lapse of judgment and failure to uphold the standards.
