Mims previews the East Coast Gaming Congress 2021, running Monday-Tuesday at Harrah's Casino Atlantic City

The East Coast Gaming Congress 2021 is next week. This conference is returning to Harrah’s Casino Atlantic City after a year hiatus due to Covid 19. It is relevant because of the amount of information that is provided over a day and a half period. It allows gaming professionals networking opportunities and outstanding presentations from some of the top casino CEOs. It’s runs Oct. 25-26. The organizers and producers include Sports Illustrated Sportsbook, Esports Entertainment Group, Cooper Levenson Attorneys at Law and Spectrum Gaming Group.

There are three panels that I am planning to attend. Each one of them focuses on the future of gaming. Building Casino Floors for Tomorrow, Bar-sinos, Stadium-sinos and other new gaming venues and View of the Supply Chain are gearing operators for the millennial customer and employee.

The presentations of CEOs Greg Carlin and David Cordish will attract attention because they are two of the top gaming leaders that have casinos in metropolitan cities. Carlin has casinos in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Des Plaines, Illinois and Schenectady, New York. Cordish oversees gaming operations in Philly, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh. They are respectful competitors in two markets so pay close attention to see if they address the plans in either city.

The conference will have the View from Wall Street about Gaming. I anticipate news about prospective merges and acquisitions. Esports and Women in Gaming will have educational segments. Bill Miller, President & CEO of AGA and New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy are scheduled to address the attendees on Tuesday.

I will provide daily updates on social media. You will be able to see my tweets on and my photos and videos on Instagram. While I am providing coverage and access for you, if you are thinking about attendingt here are mandates and safety precautions in place. Go to the ECGC website to get details and information. I will have a recap when I return right here at Bettors Insider.
