Playing Mega Millions is easy. One “line” or entry costs $2, with an extra $1 per line to add Megaplier.
Playing a line involves picking six numbers: five white ball numbers between 1 and 70, then a single gold Mega Ball number between 1 and 25.
Matching all six numbers in a drawing wins you the big jackpot. Matching fewer numbers wins you a commensurately smaller prize. Matching 1 white ball and the Mega Ball, for example, wins you $4. Matching just the Mega Ball wins you $2. Matching 4 white balls is a $500 prize.
Megaplier is a $1 add-on for each line that multiplies non-jackpot winnings.
