Lottery ticket worth over $500,000 sold at Tempe gas station
PHOENIX — A lottery player has the opportunity to snag a prize worth over $500,000 after purchasing a winning ticket Tuesday at a Tempe gas station.
The $528,910 Mega Multiplier Progressive Fast Play ticket was sold at the QuikTrip located near Elliot Road and Priest Drive.
The lucky player won the progressive jackpot, which starts at $100,000 and rises until there’s a winner.
The odds of winning the progressive jackpot are 1 in 150,000, according to the Arizona Lottery.
The half-million dollar prize is the largest of the four progressive jackpot winners in 2021.
Fast play games, unlike draw games, are printed immediately and players can know right away whether they are a winner.
Fast play tickets are available for purchase at any Arizona Lottery retailer or vending machine.
Winners have 180 days from the issuance of their ticket to claim the prize.
Several other lottery prizes, including a $1 million Powerball ticket, remain unclaimed as of Wednesday.
